Monday Morning Must-Knows: October 18, 2021

Last week, a number of big banks reported very positive earnings. Will that trend continue this week?

This week, we have 299 companies reporting including a few major companies including Netflix and Tesla.

And, this week, we’re also watching housing numbers. We have a few major announcements including the NAHB Housing Marketing Index, Building Permits and Housing Starts, and finally Existing Home Sales.

Finally, we're keeping an eye on oil. Light Sweet Crude Oil Futures have been in a strong uptrend breaking through a critical level. We have the potential for a continuation of that trend. However, OPEC may raise supply, which could impact price.
