Monday Morning Must-Knows: February 15, 2021

Here are three things we’re watching the week of February 15, 2021.

First, we watching for the impact of cryptocurrency on the equities markets.  We’re beginning to see companies buying Bitcoin.  Rather than holding cash on their balance sheets, some are holding Bitcoin.  The high volatility of crypto currency may have a significant impact on stock prices.

Second, we are watching retail sales.  We have a report on Wednesday 11:30 EST.  While we’ve seen a recent decline, we want to watch and see if it’s continuing trend or more a reversion back to the norm.

Finally, we have 513 companies reporting earnings this week including CVS, Shopify, ROKU and Walmart.
