Monday Morning Must-Knows: August 9, 2021

In recent months inflation rates have been rising for consumers and producers and this week we will learn whether or not that trend will continue or not. We're watching the CPI and PPI this week. These indices could increase volatility.

Also, there is a key amendment to the current infrastructure bill being debated by Congress.  This could bring clarity to the treatment of cryptocurrencies from a tax perspective and also has the potential to create considerable volatility in the markets.
