What is the state of monetary policy after 40 years?

 

We’ll find out this Thursday at 9:15am ET during the Cato Institute’s Annual Monetary Conference. Jerome Powell will be presenting and people will have the chance to ask him questions.

 

Central banks are expected to continue raising interest rates to slow inflation. Watch for these announcements:

 

-Reserve Bank of Australia Tuesday 12:30am ET

-Bank of Canada – Wednesday 10am ET

-ECB – European Central Bank – Thursday 8:15am ET

 

There are 155 companies reporting this week, including: Coupa Software, GameStop, American Eagle Outfitters, Dave & Buster’s, Docusign, Zscaler, Kroger and others.
