Monday Market Must-Knows: November 7, 2022

A shift in political power can shape policy, laws and regulations. Last week we saw some significant down side moves after Fed Chair, Jerome Powell’s Press conference.  The midterm elections could have an even greater impact.

 

During last week’s press conference, Jerome Powell talked a lot about Inflation and how the Fed will be more aggressive in order to bring inflation down.

This week we have the next release of the CPI number announcement.

 

• CPI Consumer Price Index – Thursday 8:30am ET – expectation is that it will continue a slow decline

 

There are 1687 companies reporting this week: Mosaic, Take-Two Interactive, Walt Disney, Trade Desk, Nio, AstraZeneca and others, including International reports on Friday.
