Monday Market Must-Knows: July 25, 2022

The announcement for Q2 Advanced GDP is this Thursday at 8:30am ET. The expectation is for this to be a positive GDP number that could change the recession rumors about our financial markets…but we need to wait until the final GDP numbers are revealed. This could give us an idea about our economy moving forward.

• FOMC Statement – Rate announcement – Wednesday 2pm ET

• FOMC press conference – Wednesday 2:30pm ET

 

There are 892 companies reporting this week.  Including these major market movers: Microsoft, Google, General Electric, Visa, Apple and Amazon.  When those reports come out, there could be some swings in the market.
