Jackson Hole Symposium August 25-27
A significant decline in the Consumer Price Index and Producer Price Index made us think that inflation could be over. But pay attention to this week’s Core PCE Price Index announcement on Friday at 8:30am ET. The expectation is for Core PCE price index to decrease, but if there is any deviation from those expectations, markets could become volatile.
In addition, there are 342 companies reporting this week, including: Palo Alto Network, Zoom, Macy’s, Medtronic, Nordstrom, Intuit, Sales Force, Autodesk, Ulta, Burlington Coat Factory.
