Is it a good time to buy a house?

 

We have seen a trend of housing price reductions and some key reports this week that could give us a good indication of the health of the housing market and what is going on with existing home sales.

 

Watch for these announcements:

 

-NAHB Housing Market Index – Monday 10am ET

-Building Permits & Housing Starts – Tuesday 8:30am ET

-Retail Sales Numbers - Wednesday 8:30am ET

-Existing Home Sales – Friday 10am ET

 

This week, there are 342 companies reporting including some key retailers such as Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Lowe's, TJ Maxx, Kohl’s and Foot Locker.

 

We anticipate seeing some moves in the market after the retail companies' announcements and the sales numbers on Wednesday at 8:30am ET.
