A crucial data release is the retail sales announcement on Tuesday at 8:30 amET, with a historical trend of marginal fluctuations around the zero line. Anexpectation of 0.4% growth suggests modest improvement but not a strongresurgence in sales. 

Additionally, the New Zealand dollar faces a late-night rate announcement at 10pm ET on Tuesday. Following a pause in July, the rate is anticipated to remainat 5.5%, impacting the currency's recent weakening trend against other globalcurrencies.
